ARTIST'S BIOGRAPHY
I was born in Jackson, Michigan, during the summer of 1972. When I
was three and a half years old, my Mom matted and framed two art pieces I
had done: a flower in crayon, and a cluster of grapes in watercolor. My
Dad always encourages me to try and believe in myself, never looking back
to regret. I am an Undestroyed Child.

MY ARTIST'S
PRAYER
I ride with faceless horses
Bodies hard with tails of silk
My crystalized gate opens
I stretch to feel the breeze
The time is now to take my last layer and peel
By now my road leads to the sky
I travel knowing my quiet hush is beyond my walls
I ride with faceless horses
Bodies hard with tails of silk
Live with breath in my bones
An emotional access
To voice my instrument
My coarse warrior blood for all to see
I am an undestroyed child
with wildflowers flowing out of my mouth
I ride with faceless horses
Bodies hard with tails of silk
The feel back I get is my equal search
Walking perhaps a thousand miles
To search for the perfect key
Once found, the pickup is free
I am on the way home
I ride with faceless horses
Bodies hard with tails of silk

I AM AN UNDESTROYED CHILD
I awoke under the strong,
silent green man long ago.
Laid under his mother arm caress.
Went to rub my forehead against his silk, his rough.
He had walked with me for a hundred miles.
Held out my hand in a firm grip, safe and dark.
I would listen to the soft flop of his hair.
The feel back I get from our equal search is my own place.
I AM AN UNDESTROYED CHILD
